Meenie

MANDEEP (MEENIE) HUNDAL

Registered Physiotherapist, Certification in Dry Needling, Vestibular and Concussion Rehab

Meenie earned her Bachelor in Physical Therapy from Guru Nanak Dev University, Punjab, India. Following her Bachelor’s, Mandeep practised in India for three years. In order to increase her evidence-based practice, she completed the Masters in Science Physiotherapy (Neurology) from Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), Manchester, England. Mandeep was awarded with a Vice Chancellor Scholarship to complete her masters. She is a Registered Physiotherapist with British Columbia College of Physiotherapists and a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She is passionate for Neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. She is certified in IMS/Dry needling, Peripheral Manipulations and K Taping. She recently gained her Concussion and Vestibular Rehabilitation Certification from the American Institute of Balance, Florida, USA and has been treating all kinds of (Post car accidents, sports injuries, any head trauma) concussion syndrome, vertigo and Vestibular dysfunctions. In her free time, Mandeep enjoys outdoor activities such as Trail walks, travel and exploring new cities and countries.

AKASHDEEP KAUR

Akash graduated with her Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree in 2010 and then completed Fitness and Health Promotion Diploma in 2012. She has recently moved from Saskatchewan and comes with 8 years of strong clinical experience treating a multitude of conditions. Akash is an avid learner. Since graduation, she has completed many postgraduate certificate courses including Mulligan concept of manual therapy techniques, McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, Manual therapy courses, Dry Needling/IMS, Vestibular and Pelvic floor Rehabilitation. She has completed Level II Upper Quadrant Certification from the National Orthopedic division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association to enhance her manual therapy skills. She as obtained Level 1 Acupuncture Certification through Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute.
Akash enjoys treating all types of musculoskeletal injuries/conditions, pre and post surgical conditions, Dizziness, Vertigo, Balance, Concussion and Vestibular dysfunctions. She has a special interest in treating Women’s health / Pelvic floor conditions including Coccydynia (Tailbone pain), Incontinence (Stress, Urge, Mixed), Prolapse, and Pelvic pain conditions. Akash has a passion for helping people while empowering them to contribute to their own healing. She believes in patient specific treatment plans and has a strong emphasis placed on patient education, manual therapy and exercise prescription. She takes the time to find the root cause of a problem and creates a plan to address her client’s immediate concern as well as enhance daily living after rehabilitation and prevent recurrences. Akash loves listening to music, reading and travelling around the world.

Tara Maslak is a graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She provides individualized treatments based on assessment, patient goals and feedback. Tara also believes strongly in providing patient education with home care. She Is passionate about supporting individuals on their wellness journey.

Chelsey has completed a diploma of massage therapy through West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She enjoys utilizing a variety of massage modalities such as Swedish massage, myofascial release, and trigger point release to suit each patient's individual needs and treatment goals. Her favorite classes were on spinal orthopedic treatments, neurological assessment and the central nervous system. She enjoys the outdoors, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. Chelsey looks forward to meeting you and working together toward your treatment goals.

Pranil is a graduate from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in December 2020. He has a very caring approach to massage and believes in the ability to adapt to a client's needs while working with them towards their goals. With the school out reach programs, Pranil has gained a lot of experience working with athletes from universities and from popular gyms. With his time at the student clinic at his school, Pranil found his niche in his style of massage. He focuses on deep tissue and trigger point therapy in areas that are usually bothersome for office workers. Along with his experience in working with athletes, Pranil has his own experience in athleticism as he trains in dance but does also have an interest in gaming in his spare time.

Dr. Inderpreet Samra earned her Bachelors of Science in Health Informatics from the University of Victoria. She worked as a Business Analyst at Fraser Health Authority and gradually realized her passion for hands-on healthcare. She developed an interest in Chiropractic by witnessing her immediate family members heal from chronic conditions such as disc-related and motor vehicle injuries through chiropractic care. Dr. Samra’s motivation to help members in her community led her to Portland, Oregon to pursue a Doctorate of Chiropractic from the University of Western States.
Dr. Samra helps guide patients on their journey to health and wellness through evidence-informed chiropractic care. She treats a spectrum of conditions with a focus on neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. She is certified to treat patients of all ages ranging from young children to pregnant women, athletes and the geriatric population.
Dr. Samra utilizes a variety of tools and techniques, including but not limited to manual and instrument assisted adjusting methods, manual and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, cupping, electrical modalities including class IV laser & shockwave therapy, and patient education. She creates personalized treatment plans for each patient to cater to their specific goals, whether it is returning to their favorite sport after an ankle injury, reducing the frequency of headaches or being able to go for a pain-free evening walk. Though having graduated, Dr. Samra continues to stay updated on current research in healthcare through continuing education and certifications.
Outside of the office, Dr. Samra enjoys exploring mountain-top views through hiking in the summer, travelling to new cities and countries, creating art through painting or spending a cozy day at home finishing up her new favorite wellness book!

YUHYUN “ANDREW” CHUNG, RAC

Yuhyun “Andrew” Chung is a Registered Acupuncturist and Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia.

Andrew was born and grew up in Seoul, South Korea. He attended the Yonsei University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering which help him understand our human body system. He moved to Canada with his family in 2014. After a personal life-changing encounter with TCM Andrew decided to attend PCU College of Holistic Medicine and also Tzu Chi International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine to pursue his career in helping people with the oriental system that worked so well for him.

On a daily basis Andrew will treat pain, sports injuries, stress, insomnia, depression, skin issues, women’s health and many more. Treating pain syndrome, digestive issues are among his favorite conditions because the outcomes are impressive. In practice, Andrew often integrates various other modalities in his treatment protocol to help bring optimal results to his patients. Acupuncture, traditional Chinese herbal medicine, gua sha, cupping, and trigger point therapy are just some of the modalities he uses in his practice

He also volunteers in a community to see patients since 2018. Andrew is a strong believer in giving back to his community and those around him.

KINESIOLOGIST

Sunny completed his education at Simon Fraser University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology majoring in Active Health and Rehabilitation with a Health and Fitness Studies Certificate. He is a practicing member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK). He has also been involved with the Canadian Red Cross as a First Aid instructor since 2008. Sunny believes that no matter where you are along the spectrum of health/ability, there is always room for improvement with the right attitude and guidance. He hopes to help you attain your next health-related goal.
